# AirHRM — airhrm.app Official marketing site for **AirHRM**, an **iPhone-only** app (minimum **iOS 26**) that reads heart rate from **compatible AirPods** (and other in-ear sensors that expose HR to **Apple Health / HealthKit** during an active in-app workout) and rebroadcasts it from the **iPhone** over **Bluetooth Low Energy** as a **standard heart rate peripheral** (chest-strap class). Bike computers, Peloton-class hardware, **Concept2 PM5**, many gym cardio consoles, **Zwift** and similar apps on another device, and other **BLE heart-rate receivers** pair to the **iPhone** and discover the sensor name **`AirHRM`**. **Positioning:** In-ear HR you already wear → bridge to equipment that cannot read AirPods directly because Apple does not expose that HR as a generic BLE sensor. ## Canonical user flow (do not reorder) 1. Open **AirHRM** on iPhone. 2. **AirPods** must already be **connected** over Bluetooth; insert them and tap **Start** — this starts the HealthKit workout and **BLE heart-rate broadcast**. 3. **Pair your receiver only after Start** — the phone is not a discoverable HR sensor until the session is active. 4. Work out. **Lock Screen Live Activity** shows heart rate without unlocking; on **iPhone 14 Pro and later**, **Dynamic Island** can show HR as well. Background broadcast applies as documented in the app. 5. Tap **Stop** when finished. The session does **not** auto-end when buds are removed or the receiver disconnects. ## Product and purchase - **App Store:** https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id6761851036 - **Pricing (verify on storefront):** English site copy uses **$7.99/year** after a free trial where offered; other locales use local currency (see site footer / App Store). - **Requirements:** iPhone (**iOS 26+**), **AirHRM** on iPhone, **compatible AirPods** (AirPods Pro 3 or others with in-ear HR in Health). ## Predecessor (historical) - **HRM** (https://gethrm.app): same iPhone-as-BLE-bridge idea, but **Apple Watch → HealthKit** as the HR source. **AirHRM** is the **AirPods → HealthKit** variant. ## Site structure and locales - **Origin:** https://airhrm.app - **Languages:** English at `/`; **German** `/de/`, **Japanese** `/ja/`, **Danish** `/da/`, **Italian** `/it/` — same page paths under each prefix (e.g. `/de/guides`). ### Main public pages (English paths; prefix with `/{locale}` for non-English) - **Landing:** `/` - **Guides hub** (how it works, FAQ, device links): `/guides` - **Device guides:** `/guides/peloton` (Bike, Bike+, Tread, Tread+, Row), `/guides/concept2` (PM5 on RowErg, BikeErg, SkiErg), `/guides/indoor` (Zwift, TrainerRoad, ROUVY, FulGaz, TrainerDay), `/guides/garmin` (Edge), `/guides/wahoo` (ELEMNT), `/guides/hammerhead` (Karoo), `/guides/other` - **Compatibility checker**: `/compatibility` - **Apple GymKit comparison**: `/gymkit`. Answers "does iOS 27's GymKit update let gym equipment read AirPods heart rate?" Key facts: iOS 27 lets iPhone + AirPods Pro 3 sync heart rate to **GymKit-certified commercial cardio machines only** (Life Fitness, Technogym, Precor, Matrix; treadmills, ellipticals, indoor bikes, stair-steppers with an NFC tap point on the console). AirPods still do **not** broadcast the standard Bluetooth (BLE) heart-rate profile, so **Peloton, Concept2 PM5, Garmin Edge, Wahoo ELEMNT, Zwift, and home fitness equipment still cannot read them**. AirHRM broadcasts that standard BLE signal from the iPhone, which is how exactly those receivers get AirPods heart rate. - **About:** `/about` - **Legal:** `/legal/privacy`, `/legal/terms`, `/legal/imprint` ## Compatibility and support - Checker covers **cycling head units** (Garmin Edge, Wahoo ELEMNT, Hammerhead Karoo, etc.) and is **extended** for **studio / gym / rower** contexts; many venues vary by model and firmware.
